Recruitment Crewing Superintendent
We are seeking to recruit a Recruitment Crewing Superintendent to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus.
Job Description
The Recruitment Crewing Superintendent shall have the following qualifications:
- Seagoing experience as an officer, or a university degree and experience in the maritime recruitment industry of not less than two years;
- Good command of the English language and strong interpersonal skills;
- Good organisational and communication skills;
- Solid knowledge of Maritime regulations and resourcing market.
The Recruitment Crewing Superintendent is responsible for:
- Ensuring that all applications of Seafarers are properly processed as per Company system and requirements;
- Ensuring that all Seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with Company’s, STCW and Flag State requirements;
- Ensuring that all Seafarers have passed a medical examination performed by a qualified independent medical doctor and obtained a medical certificate before joining a vessel;
- Ensuring that Seafarer Employment Agreements are issued in compliance with MLC, Flag State and National requirements;
- Maintaining Seafarers records in Company’s data systems;
- Managing recruitment and placement processes related to crew provision for Third Party Crew Supply, including managing the respective crew pool;
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of the global manning agencies network for validation and auditing purposes;
- Coordinating the distribution of working instructions and circulars to the global manning agencies network;
- Conducting quality control checks and compliance audits of manning agencies as appointed;
- Contributing to the development or amendment of procedures and working instructions related the global manning agencies network;
- Being fully familiarised with the Company’s Management System;
- Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;
- Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
- Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
